Group of athletes at the Italian volleyball camp

Our Italian partner

Rooted in
the game.

The camp is hosted by a Modena-based youth volleyball club with decades of history and a development system that has trained athletes competing at regional and national levels.

Federico grew up inside this club and system. His direct relationships with leadership and coaching staff allow our visiting athletes to integrate into Italian volleyball culture.

Every day,
something more.

Technical, disciplined and detail-oriented training, with cultural growth beyond the court.

  • Six days of elite training, with two daily sessions and 5–6 hours of training
  • Internal tournaments and certified Italian coaching staff
  • Athlete accommodation and three meals per day
  • Pool time, Lake Ninfa and an adventure park afternoon
  • Cultural activities, Italian lessons and a closing party
  • Camp package, Florence visit and camp transfers
  • Hudson Wave chaperones, camp injury insurance and medical support
  • June 26 welcome dinner and one overnight in Florence; scheduled outbound transfers June 27 and return to Florence July 3

Flights and airport–Florence transportation are not included. Personal travel insurance is required; camp insurance does not replace it.

The setting

Mountain air.
Clear focus.

Sestola sits in the Modena Apennines, at the foot of Monte Cimone. Its castle rises above the town, with wooded slopes and mountain views forming the backdrop to camp life.

Nearby Lago della Ninfa brings another side of the landscape into view: still water, surrounding woodland and the higher slopes of Cimone. This is a mountain setting with a character all its own.

Modena is known for its UNESCO-listed cathedral, Ghirlandina tower and Piazza Grande, as well as its tradition of balsamic vinegar. For Federico, the connection is personal. He grew up in Modena and began his volleyball journey there. Bringing young athletes to this region means sharing the place and sporting culture that helped shape him.

Athletes train at the Palazzetto dello Sport, an indoor facility with up to three regulation courts, and stay in supervised shared accommodation in town. The camp combines time on court with the experience of living, learning and playing together in Italy.
