Via Varsity partners with elite sports camps abroad to give young athletes the unique advantage of developing their game internationally. In tandem, our team creates an effortless escape for parents and guardians. We take care of the details, thoughtfully blending beautiful accommodations, local culture and cuisine, exploration, and plenty of time to unwind while their student athlete trains.
We believe that travel is one of the most effective tools for self-development, expansion, and mental clarity. Even the smallest details become vivid memories that you bring home with you forever. Via Varsity creates the opportunity for families to experience being abroad, each in their own meaningful way. The result is a shared sense of connection and adventure that only becomes possible when sport and travel come together, giving the idea of playing an away game a whole new meaning.
The name
A way forward
Lindsey came up with the name: Via, the Italian word for a street, way or path, paired with Varsity, a familiar part of American sports culture.
Together, they express the connection between Italy, athletic ambition and discovery.
Our first chapter
Starting with
volleyball
Our 2027 experience brings young athletes to Italy through volleyball.
Wave Italy brings the idea to life: international volleyball for young athletes, with a parallel Tuscan experience for the adults who choose to travel with them.
